Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Norwalk Seventh-day Adventist Church ("we", "us", "our", or "the church") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect through NorwalkSDA.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we may collect
We may collect personal information when you interact with our website, ministry programs, or events, including:
- Information submitted through website forms such as contact messages, prayer requests, visit-planning forms, volunteer signups, newsletter subscriptions, food-assistance inquiries, event registrations, and health-class inquiries.
- Contact information you provide, such as name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Message content, prayer requests, or other information you voluntarily share with us.
- Donation-related information processed through secure third-party giving platforms such as Adventist Giving. We do not store credit card or bank account details on our own servers.
- Standard technical information collected automatically by our web servers, such as browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed, used to maintain and improve the site.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions, follow up on your visit, or serve you through ministry.
- To pray for the specific needs shared through our prayer-request forms.
- To coordinate volunteer opportunities, event registrations, and program participation.
- To communicate ministry updates, worship information, and event announcements to those who have opted in.
- To operate, secure, and improve NorwalkSDA.org and our digital ministry tools.
Prayer requests
Prayer requests are treated with pastoral care. They may be received by our pastoral staff, ministry leaders, or trained prayer-team members for the purpose of prayer and follow-up support. We do not publish personal prayer requests publicly unless you specifically ask us to.
Donations
Donations to Norwalk SDA Church are processed through secure third-party platforms, primarily Adventist Giving, which is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for online tithe and offering. Payment information is handled directly by those providers under their own privacy and security practices. We receive only the donation records needed for stewardship, receipting, and accounting.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
NorwalkSDA.org may use cookies and standard analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site, improve content, and support our ministry outreach. Depending on the ministry season, this may include tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, Meta Pixel, or similar technologies. These tools may collect aggregated or de-identified data such as pages visited, time on site, general location, and device information.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of many analytics and advertising cookies through industry tools such as the Google Ads Settings page, the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out, and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.
Third-party services and links
Some ministry tools, forms, and donation pages are hosted by trusted third-party providers (for example, Adventist Giving, Subsplash, and form-hosting services). When you use those tools, their privacy policies also apply. Our website may also link to partner ministry sites; those sites operate under their own privacy practices.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not rent or trade your contact information to marketers.
- We do not share prayer requests, donor information, or personal details publicly without consent.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information submitted through our website. No online transmission or storage system, however, is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You may also unsubscribe from email communications at any time using the link in our messages or by contacting us directly. To make a privacy request, email info@norwalksda.org.

This website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Parents who believe a child has submitted information without permission can contact us and we will delete it.
